We design and deliver training in close consultation with our clients to ensure the needs of both the commissioning organisation and the trainees are met in the most effective way.
Artworks is a recognised CERTA centre for the delivery of accredited awards and qualifications and as such can design and deliver new accredited training on almost any subject.
Training for Artists
- We have developed and delivered a number of CPD training and mentoring programmes for artists which aim to increase talent development and skills
Training for Children and Young People
- Artworks is an Artsmark centre and we are trained to deliver Arts Awards and have delivered a number of projects within formal and informal education settings including schools, youth clubs and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs)
Training in Facilitation and Engagement
- We are experts in community engagement and have designed and delivered a range of training for a variety of organisations on these topics. Our training is engaging, effective and fun
Training in Health and Social Care
- Artworks continues to develop and deliver training and consultation within the health and social care environment using creative processes to deliver innovative, fun and exciting programmes locally, regionally and nationally
- Artworks has a long-term working relationship with the Care Quality Commission, designing and delivering bespoke products and services that meet their needs
- Artworks has designed and delivered a national training programme on the Health and Social Care Environment which has been funded by the Department of Health and is now being used by NHS England. The training can be accessed at engageforchange.org.uk
Training for Community Champions
- We have designed and delivered bespoke training for Children’s Centres and local authorities that has trained volunteers on how to deliver valuable engagement work in their local communities. An example of such work is our Parent Champions programme for Bradford Council
Mentoring
- Artworks aims to develop and retain local creative talent by offering development programmes which include mentoring and opportunities to develop skills in such areas as budget management, promotion and test-bedding new ideas
- We also take on a number of University and College placements each year with fantastic results including a high percentage progressing into paid employment
