Artworks’ work crosses all artforms from dance and drama to DJ-ing and design and with people of all ages, abilities and cultures. We have worked with thousands of individuals and hundreds of groups have taken part in our projects, creating a sense of ownership and pride and using the arts to help people connect with and participate in their communities. We have developed and delivered bespoke products and training for the Care Quality Commission, the Department of Health, Local Authorities and a range of businesses and organisations and can apply our knowledge and experience to any kind of project.
The majority of our work falls into four key areas:
Health & Wellbeing: We use creative approaches to improve health and wellbeing both through direct delivery and creative consultation, facilitation and training. We work with organisations, local communities, businesses, the statutory sector and individuals.
Children, Young People and Families: We work with children, young people and families to reduce exclusion, improve learning experience, build confidence and ability and support the growth of new creative generations as well as creating and delivering training for staff and volunteers working in this area.
Training, Mentoring and Talent Development: We design and deliver bespoke training courses which use creative techniques to provide the best for organisations, businesses, artists, communities and professionals.
Public Art and Events: We design, create and manage celebrations including lantern parades, community celebrations and festivals and we are experts at working with local communities and professional artists to produce inspiring pieces of public art.
